I think it's a good idea. People should know about it. It's not like children don't know about heterosexuality, so why should this be any different?

I think some parents who are against homosexuality would be offended.
But other than that, teach away.

The younger the child who is educated, is better

All religions have rules that everybody breaks everyday, regardless of their religious beliefs. If we can talk about eating pork on here (which the Bible prohibits), we should be able to talk about homosexuality.

Ugh, everyone always misunderstands

Nobody reads the bible (okay some do, I'm just generalizing so don't take insult) but they know what's 'good' and 'bad'. Being gay is apparently 'bad' in the bible and it's been around for hundreds of years of human history so that's why some people think of it as inappropriate: because they've been taught all their life by parents taught all their life that it's 'wrong'.
