Seriously. It's a good character that looks good, but you saved it as JPEG. Next time, use PNG.
Other than JPEG, it's really good.

Yes. JPEG uses lossy compression formulas and is composed of little "tiles", if you will. PNG uses somewhat the same type of storage as a BMP, but more efficient.
