Tycoon games like roller coaster tycoon, zoo tycoon, etc. but it doesn't have to have "tycoon" in it. I've made a gallery of games that fit this criteria: you can build new "items" (like buildings, rooms, rides, animal exhibits), these items help you get money, and money is affected by some other variable. They also have to be fun! Anyway if you have or know a tycoon game that you think is great I'd love to have it in my gallery!
