I'm Hermione with a wand and a sonic screwdriver... yep...
Only two people at school knew what the sonic was
Seventh and eighth graders act so "mature" but then they see a sonic screwdriver and they're like, "OMG CAN I PLEEEEZ TOUCH IT!?" "LEMME SEE IT!" "I WAS ONLY KIDDING WHEN I SAID IT WAS STUPID PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE CAN I HOLD IT!!!" "CMONNN!" even though they don't know what the heck they're looking at
It's rather funny
They must be instinctively attracted to its awesomeness

Someone I know is being Charlie Chaplin, and he came to school in his costume. People were like "Are you HITLER?????????"
