We would love it if you could approve Go Everywhere!
Thanks, and have a nice day!
- The Go Everywhere! Hosting Team (formerly comp500, GP1, and IHeartGaming)A worthy goal - I would love to be able to use Scratch on portable devices!
I do have a concern about the website though - I see that it has a chat area. Because of the real-time nature of chatting, moderating chat areas full time is nearly impossible. So currently we are not approving any sites that have chat areas. Are you using it a lot? Would you consider removing that feature? We have locked and removed the chat so you cannot access it now.
Thanks!
-comp500, on behalf of the GE team.
Okay then, I've added it to the list

I'm pretty sure mine is safe. I don't allow comments to be posted until I check them first, and I posted a set of rules for posting comments recently. I made this website in 200..9? Or 10? I can't remember, but it's definitely at least 3 months old

Yep, it looks pretty safe! And since your site doesn't have any forums or other fancy features, I don't think you even need permission to link to it. Remember, the new policy says that only more complex sites need to get permission.

quick question, i understand that you do not want members emails to be leaked out to others, but why do you not allow it even with the owners consent?
just a bit curious

It's largely because a lot of the users here are young. When you post your e-mail out there, you don't know who will see it and abuse it (for example, someone can send bad messages, sign you up for some nasty spam, spoof your e-mail to do bad deeds, etc.); in an environment used by a lot of young users, sharing any sort of contact info becomes a problem. In the case of Scratch, it's just best to keep personal information private, as the Community Guidelines suggest.

Be quiet Peter. You can stop trying to be mean. This actually is a good forums modded by some mature Scratchers and friends of mine.

I'm not being mean. I was never being me. I'm trying to tell you that your forums can get trolled easily and every not swell member knows this.
You have a chat which is against the Scratch Rules.
And my forums are actually approved, so I'm trying to give advice to you.

That's enough, let the Scratch Team members in charge of website approval be the judge of what personal sites gets whitelisted and what does not.

We have tight banning system on there, like if somebody cusses BAM! I edit it and they get a strike.

I am a mod on the Swell Forums and we recently did a cleanup of all the inappropriate content on the forums. Our forums have gotten better and better, and now, I think they're ready to be Scratch approved. Although there is a chat, we moderate it constantly.

[removed] is my Gopher Mod forums. It has been made over 3 months ago, and I would like you to add it. I have been working on the security system for a long time, and we haven't had any spam/inappropriate content issues yet. We have 30 users so far, and I check every day on my forums. I also have 2 moderators (Guinea_Pig_Girl and flashgocrazy). Also, I am very careful about selecting moderators. You can check the PDF that moderators must read before been aproved. Thank you,

[Mod Edit: Please don't post links to your forums until after they are approved by the Scratch Team. If you need a link to a personal forum approved, it's best to use the Report button to provide the link.]

what if the website censors certain phrases and words in a chat area? this is theoretical by the way.

My site, TVflea.weebly.com doesn't have a chat or a forum and I am the only person who can control what goes on the site. It was made in march so, yeah.

Since it doesn't have any complex features...you don't need permission to link to it from Scratch. Go right ahead
