Is anyone using this in their school with classes?  If so, do you have any curriculum or projects to suggest?  My audience is third grade.

MESclan, yes, please use our ideas in your scripter game and then post on the forums what you created.

Re: Can I have permission to do _________ with Scratch?

yes, just find a picture of a character, save it to your computer, then click the folder underneath the stage. Find the picture you just saved, then push ok.

Re: Can I have permission to do _________ with Scratch?

Is there any software that you can use to maybe inhance your projects? Ive noticed that quite a few people have really good projects and i was just wondering if maybe they used some other software along with Scratch.

Re: Can I have permission to do _________ with Scratch?

I frequently use Photoshop Elements to clean up and resize sprites before putting them into scratch.  It has better tools and algorithms for manipulating raster images than scratch does.  This is particularly important when manipulating images from my digital camera (like the polyphonic keyboard or the mastermind game).

Re: Can I have permission to do _________ with Scratch?

What blocks are you referring to?  I don't know what font the scratch team used for the scratch blocks.  If you mean the buttons on mastermind, I did those using the scratch-provided fonts (and the scratch provided buttons---there was no need for Photoshop elements on them).

Re: Can I have permission to do _________ with Scratch?

Hello
Just heard about this software and have spent a few short minutes exploring. WOW!!! the kids will love this. Great software and site!!! We have been using Gamemaker, but Scratch is far more intuitive for primary students.

Re: Can I have permission to do _________ with Scratch?

Yes, the HTML is available on each project page. On the right side of the page you can see there is a panel titled "Link to this Project" click on the "Embed" option and you can copy and code the code from there.

Scratch on!

Re: Can I have permission to do _________ with Scratch?

Yes you can rico. You just "have" to go to the Educators forums and tell your experience using Scratch on your intranet so other can learn from you  smile

Re: Can I have permission to do _________ with Scratch?

My understanding is that it would be ok.
There are simple instructions for making links to projects that may work in facebook.

Re: Can I have permission to do _________ with Scratch?

hi mdausmann. I am very interested in Facebook. We actually have created a Facebook App that lets you send Scratch Greeting Cards. It's in alpha testing mode. http://apps.facebook.com/scratchcard/
Let me know how we can support your creation of your FB App.
