Yeah, I can easily make commands/get plugins to replace SimpleServer commands.
So, no arguments against ditching SimpleServer?

Yeah, books are stored in text files, so it'll be okay. Just have to link it to the books somehow...

I think you can save whatever you want to take over to the new map, or you can ask for a spot to be backed up with MCedit.

I'll have to check on that. Meanwhile, /pex user <user> group set <group> (where <group> is Guest, Player, Trusted).

And too many people are thinking that promotions to Trusted and Handout Person are mandatory and are inevitable. Well, guess what? They're not. A mod or admin has full right to not promote someone to Trusted if they're deemed not mature enough or something.
Also, people are starting to ask if they can be mods. Handout People are even less mandatory than Trusted, and we don't just go hiring mods (and admins, for that matter) at random (or after a certain period of time) like other servers do. I'm actually going to be serious in who I pick to be a Handout Person or admin. I'm not going to hire n00bs who just happen to have been on the server for a while but don't know how half the server works and don't stick to all the rules. (Of course, due to the amount of plugins we have, most people don't know how half the server works anyway, but you get what I mean  )
So, the bottom line is, don't (or at least try to avoid) asking to be Trusted or a Handout Person (and don't even think about asking to be a Handout Person). I or a mod or admin will notice you if you stand out in the community (remember, one of our main goals is to be a community and not just a bunch of floating players), and they'll promote you accordingly as they see fit. (That being said, I think I need to get the mods/admins brushed up on how much thought you should put into promoting someone and how selective you should be.)
