This should be in all about scratch.
Also: most of us Forumers really don't care 'bout the main site.

You will. You just need to do all of those things for a long time.

I think fame is over-rated. I once got on the front page and had to reply to all the comments. Doing that every day would just make Scratch horrible.
I know, It's not that fun. This is just for the people who like to get famous.

Well, I would change 3 and 10. And 7 is rather subjective (after all, people have different views on what makes a cool project)
Regarding 3: No one really looks at "add everything galleries" since they're so hard to sort through, most usually look at galleries with specific subjects. So it's better when people add their projects to galleries with a related subject (for example, if you have a game that uses a platformer engine, you would add your project to galleries that showcase platformers)
Regarding 10: That one seems to suggest that your project is the only project that should be remixed to get fame. I'd generalize it to apply to all situations where people can be featured in projects notes.
Regarding 7: I think it's better if users are encouraged to put effort into the project being created. Users are more likely to appreciate projects with effort put into them rather than projects put crudely together with little to no effort at all.

Hmm, I didn't do any of those things.
Hmph.

I think Cheddargirl is right. I never thought those galleries helped. #10 seems to suggest that you are advertising.
These are all tips. And that's a tip.

I wouldn't think that's necessarily true - maybe the people who frequently post in Miscellaneous may not care, but a lot of people use the forums to augment the experience of the main site.

I don't know about that, I made a pointless button that took under 5 minutes and it has 6 love-its and 20 veiws in 12 hours. On a different account, I have a project I spent 3 months on and it has 8 veiws, 0 Love-its.
