Its supposed to be a day where you introduce scratch and show it off to others kinda like an advertisement. At least this is what it sounds like to me

So anybody can just set one up at their house apparently? What kinds of things can you do? Are there any rules to set one up? Just wondering. This kinda sounds like an open idea to me.
Scratch Day is a really open idea - get people together to meet, share, and learn more about Scratch. You can make it look like whatever you want!
You could take a look at the events already being planned to see how others are thinking about their Scratch Day events. There aren't really any rules, but if you'd like some ideas for how to plan your own Scratch Day event, you could check out the resources event guide.
Hope that helps!

Hi BKOOL96 -
It's great that you are interested in making games in Scratch...you can start by downloading Scratch (look at the Scratch Home page) and looking at the projects that come with it. Or, maybe you can visit one of the Scratch Day events, if there is one in your area
