Re: WindozeNT Software

Software I have finished but need to release:
iBoot: Accurately simulates the Macintosh boot-up sequence.
Photo Booth for Windows: Picture viewer a la Apple. First NTSoft product to use GDI+.
Mac Mounter: Mounts drives to the desktop like a Mac.
Locker: Locks handles to files to prevent them from being overwritten.
Fakera1n 1.1: Major bugfix to the Limera1n parody.
Win9x Boot Screens: An early experiment with VB6's Left property.
MacinCrash for Windoze 1.0.1: Minor bugfix to the Anti-Apple word processor.
MacinCrash for Mac 2.0.5: Moderate bugfix to the original Anti-Apple word processor.
MacinCrash for Apple ][ 1.0: Apple ][ port of the Anti-Apple word processor.
The Chooser 1.3: Adds new application opening engine, cleaner UI and some minor enchancements and bugfixes.
Visual Basic 6 for DLLs: A patched version of the VB6 IDE that allows you to create standard Win32 API DLLs.

There's probably more software to release also...  big_smile

um
Yes, everything here does something useful.
And as explained MANY times before, my software doesn't crash anything (with the exception of Crash Shell, and even IT has a use). -_-

Nothing for OS X until I can get a hold of either a Macintosh or a Hackintosh, which should be around Christmas.

EDIT: The first app I expect to port to Mac OS X is MacinCrash, which is currently codenamed "MacinCrash for X".

EDIT 2: If you have a PPC Mac, you can use MacinCrash in the Classic Environment. It might also work on Leopard/Snow Leopard if Rosetta is installed but neither ways have been tested.

I'm going to update Maxi Pad soon. But I'm making an OS codenamed WindozeNT Software Operating System. It's also a full OS that's based on Windows XP, so I will beat that (or come really close to it)!  big_smile  But to me, .NET is ultimately trash. I hate .NET and everything that uses it (but I see its development purpose).

Windoze NT Software should make an all around project which everyone works on. What would it do though? I know some basic VB commands.

In cases of failed recognition, there will be an option to use traditional text-box-based logon systems with user names and passwords and whatnot.

This screenshot was taken at a 1440x900 screen resolution.

I am ready to release iBoot but Vista crashes when compiling (an expected fail from the worst Windows OS) and Windows 2000 complains of ActiveX issues (unexpected fail from one of the most stable Windows OSes). Whenever I can gain access to my Windows XP, I will compile and release iBoot 1.0 and other software if I can.

Fakera1n 1.0a

Good News:
Fakera1n 1.0a has been released! This release is a little rusty and is an old build I found sitting around, but fixes the ActiveX issue and includes a hidden feature! Use FixDLL with admin rights to register the GIF DLL.  big_smile

NOTE: The About Box in the application says Version 1.1, but the version is really 1.0a. Because, as I said, this is an old build.  wink

It's an Anti-Apple word processor that runs on System 7 and above (sans OS X Intel). It has more capabilities than any other word processor since I developed it in early 2010 when no other Mac OS developer has made updates for any word processor for Classic since 1995. Make sure you use it as default and refer to Readme And Crash to get information about what does what (I even get confused when using it). Version 2.5 will get rid of the most confusing options and will make it more like MacinCrash For Windoze is (Mcrsh32 (the Windows version) is much easier to use thanks to the Win32 API).
