Today for Ribbon Awareness week at my school, student council had to paint nail polish on everyone's fingers. I'm still wearing it while other boys picked theirs off.
Now I have to wear it to confirmation because my sister doesn't know where our nail polish remover is.
*facepalm*

Ribbon day? As in the ugly new Ribbon interface developed by Microsoft and put in the 2007 Microsoft Word onwards and also in the new Windows 8 Explorer

I don't see what everyone's problem is with nail polish.

For our red ribbon week we had to wear tie-dye shirts.
Pretty ironic.

You have a day to raise the awareness of ribbons?

No, it's a week for aware kids about drugs and alcohol.

As I put before, what the heck is wrong with them. If I was in that situation as soon as they come around sneak off and hide until it is over.

I thought the ribbon was for breast cancer.

Ours was going to be this week, but it was delayed because of standardized testing. We have random themes (like Crazy Hair Day) for each day of the week

We got to wear any red shirt we want to (we have to wear uniforms at my school, btw
) today, and got all the cheap stuff they always give us for it (bracelets, pencil topper erasers, sports bottles, etc.).
And btw, gasoline makes a good alternative to nail polish remover and paint thinner (though if you don't wash it off good afterwards, it makes your skin peel).
