Sorry to hear your Internet Explorer is crashing. What version of Internet Explorer do you have? Does it crash when visiting other websites? Does it crash when you see one project or after you see a couple of projects?
Unfortunately, sometimes the only solution is to upgrade your browser or your version of Java. I wish computers were easier to use!

Just upgrade to Firefox. You said you don't want to but it fixed a lot of the problems I had when I used IE6.
A lot of people also say Java and the scratch website work better in IE7 than IE6

I can see why you don't want to change. The interface is so much different!

To me, the IEs are anything but different. Microsoft needs to burn IE to the ground and start again fresh, instead of repeatedly making new versions.
Also, my parent's computer has IE6 on it, and nothing odd happens when you access this site. Just try using Firefox and see if it helps, if it does, keep it, if it doesn't, do what you want.
