People in math today were talking about if people got bad grades in our old school, they're IDIOTS.
I got bad grades.
And I was the only one who did.
They were right.
Because I am one.

It's okay!
I'm considered gifted, but I got a bad grade in my STRONG SUBJECT, reading, recently. That doesn't make ME an "idiot", so why should it make you one?

I don't believe grades are an accurate representation of intelligence. Everyone is intelligent, in different ways. That's one of the flaws of the current school system; they only utilise a few of the ways.

Couldn't have said it better myself.

Actually it does. The definition of practical is as follows:
(of an idea, plan, or method) Likely to succeed or be effective in real circumstances; feasible.
This is basically what school is, to prepare you for later in life.

Well, somewhat. A lot of what they teach you won't be helpful in your later life, especially if you get into very advanced classes of which you have no interest in. If you don't have any interest in it, you probably won't follow the career. Also, lots of schools fail to teach everyday things you need to know. Will school teach you how to operate a washing machine, Mr. Harmonica?

Actually, in Home Economics you have a good chance of learning how. Plus, a lot of stuff comes in common sense or is passed down from your parents/guardian.
Although I'll admit that a lot of you learn in school wont be useful later in life, it's necessary knowledge to complete school.
