Not true. I think if you post A LOT of projects (Like, 3 pages worth) you will get to the Scratcher Status. I saw somebody with, like, only 8 posts and they were a Scratcher. i looked at their projects and saw that they had SOOOO MANY PROJECTS!!!

Not true, you have to have posted in the forums. Maybe he was from a long time ago, either from before the New Scratcher status or they promoted him because he joined many months ago, even though he had a small amount of posts.

That's a newbie for ya smile But I was saying not true to him because he said he would have over nine thousand posts before he gets to the scratcher status, which I thought was probably not true. And i just THOUGHT that you had a lot of projects you get to the scratcher status. i wasn't trying to state a fact.

Well, mine wasn't truly spam, but it was just beginner projects.

You shouldn't be afraid to have beginner projects, even right now. No one's perfect and if you wait until a project's perfect, you're not going to have any. So try to release more projects, and it'll help you grow faster (in knowledge, not sizewise)

Okay guys Puppet got 600 because he was being an active forum member, but he only had (and has to this day) two (IMO excellent) projects. He uploaded a few spam projects to become a Scratcher, I think.

It's not that I was afraid, I just learned better by opening up other projects and looking into them rather than making beginner projects.

I joined scratch (the website) a year or so ago. I thought that I am a Scratcher because I have been on Scratch for ages and have a few pages of projects.

But now...
I think it probably was only recently that I got my status. It would be great if you did get a notification when you become a scratcher. Or at least a date next to your status.

Anyway, this helped explain loads to me - thanks!!
