Two Sensor Boards

Hi there,

is it possible to use two sensor boards for one project so that there are 8 alligator clips available instead of 4 or 2 sound sensors etc. I'm trying it since a while but i can't get any results.

I think its about the COM port of the computer. When I add one board it uses COM9 when I add a second board it uses COM10. But I can only use the board which I plugged in first.

Do you have any experiences with that.

Re: Two Sensor Boards

You can only use one sensor board at a time with Scratch.

You can only use one at a time. But you may be able to come up with some circuit trickery, depending upon what you expect your inputs to be. For example, if you expect your inputs to be discrete values, you can play around with resistors in certain configurations and come up with unique analog values for eight input using voltage division. Sorry if this sounds unhelpful and vague. I'm curious what you're playing around with. There are some certifiably smart people who read this forum that may be able to help you out if you post more details  smile

Re: Two Sensor Boards

there isn't supposed to be a pic

Dear Scratch Users,
I'm done with scratch, or at least making projects. I have made one last big game, thats both fun and teaches a lesson about water. It'd mean a lot if you gave me feedback.                              http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/bosox397/569201
