but stillWell, PowerPuff Girls managed to get an anime derivatve. Some shows or existing comics manage to get anime or manga derivatives (or anime/manga inspired derivatives) such as Sabrina the Teenage Witch, and even Gossip Girl, it just depends on whether or not anyone is willing to take on such a project.
Actually, some people argue that the latest version of MLP is an anime version in comparison to some of the older MLP shows. Here's a vintage flashback of the really old MLP shows in case anyone is interested to see how the old style used to be like.

Nothing can beat SC!You guys piddle around with your plotless "friendship is good" animes while I head off to see giant masked demons torn to shreds by a dude with orange hair and a sword as big as him.
Your arguments are invalid.
Pokemon was good. Beyblade and Bakugan are copies of copies, I won't even bother. SC is, from what I can tell, directed towards kids 10 and under and is too "OMG SHINY BUBBLY CUTE" for my tastes. While it's all a matter of opinion right now, unless you're a wuss, you'll eventually be watching an anime with a deep plot, blood, and no unnecessary special effects.
Join the idea sooner rather than later is my philosophy.
Shugo chara isn't "bubbly cute".
Look at it.
It dosen't look like Kirby threw up everywhere unlike most shows aimed at girls.
Shugo Chara is creative and each character has thier own personality. Who never thought a girl who wants to become a baby agian would be interesting.
Quick, let's compare it to MLP.
MLP:
SC:
See the diffrence? Which is more pink?
RANDOM NOTE: I'm looking at SC things and listening to T.N.T. by AC/DC at the same time. XD

It doesn't just relate to pink. Go watch episode 1 of Bleach. The whole thing, so you understand. NOW does SC look bubbly-cute? Most likely.
While the characters aren't so bad, and the concept is creative, my "not girly/bubbly-cute" standard is higher than yours. Don't get me wrong; it's not MLP. It's just that, again, the bar is set higher in my mind. And SC falls below that. Sorry man. But it's one of your firsts, your standards weren't set by a previously watched anime. I don't blame you.
It's comparable to your sweet/salty setpoint. To demonstrate; Eat something sweet. Eat the same thing again in a little. Is it somewhat less sweet? Yes, because you're slightly used to sweeter. Eat something salty. It tastes REALLY salty. Because your setpoint is at "sweet".
Eat something sweet again. It tastes sweeter than the first time, because your setpoint was put back at salty, but even lower.
It kinda works the same way with taste in anime, video games, and a whole number of things, except it's more long-term when it comes to that.
...So yeah.
Look at your anime. Now back to mine. Now back to yours. Now back to mine. Sadly, yours is not mine. But if you stopped acting like your opinions are facts, it could be mine. Look down. Back up. Where are you? You're at your computer. Look in your hand. It's your mouse. Look again. The mouse now has a new purpose; watching Bleach. Anything is possible when you look at it from another's perspective. I agree with people.

Hope you don't mind me having a little laugh. But take it slightly seriously please, that was hard to write.

BACK ON TOPIC...:
Anime... Everyone confuses it with manga. Why? Two TOTALLY different things. Why? I mean, they're similar, but TO AN EXTENT. Why?
I quote:

Manga = Book
Anime = Show
I like Anime better.
For these reasons:

But usually, the manga will have more than the anime (not like the last episide of DBZ -_-).

Back on topic though. I prefer Manga because it leaves more to the imagination...and it's fun to read.
