Broken USB Drives

Anyway, I plugged a flash drive in at a music kiosk at Dave and Buster's. Guess what? It broke!

In the meantime:
Plugging it in. Nothing will recognize it.

A few years later: (now)
I plugged it into the USB hub in my desk and my computer recognized it! Just because the hub is currently rinning on a super low voltage.

Yay!

Re: Broken USB Drives

I had a USB thumb drive which corrupted random data and came up with weird error messages when trying to eject saying that it couldn't. After reformating twice it now works. I also removed the case.

Find someone post count. Click posts under username. Find number of pages. Times that by 40 for min and 60 for max and you have a rough estimate of post count.

My USB drive went in the washing machine and worked fine afterwards... the beauty of flash memory  smile

A normal disk wouldn't have lasted half a minute in the washing machine  tongue
