I couldn't log in while I had my cookies turned off. I set them back on and it let me log in. Does this mean you need to have your computer's cookies turned on to log in? If you have problems logging in, you might want to try turning on cookies.

I think you are correct that cookies are used in the log in process. But I'm not positive. Anybody know for sure?

Yes, you need cookies to log in.

basicly, all saving is done on cookies. This includes remembering your passwords, remembering if your loged in, is used in flash for loading/saving ect...

In short, cookies are a type of temporary files stored by your browser that helps websites recognize your IP and recognize you as you. You can store information such as log in data and personal settings.
