this is just an idea, but mabie we could host Scratch Day by webcam. everyone could esily atend it, yet the are may "cons". this is just an idea but, mabie we could make it work. Yet it would involve alot of work, so for a third time its just an idea. Thanks for reading my fourm, -zizins-

Not just by webcam. Make a chatroom, with webcams being entirely optional.

Ich habe eine Idee und zwar, dass man bei Scratch Videos selbst aufnehmen und dann auch in Scratch einfügen kann. In allen Formaten, sprich: AVI, 3GP, FLV, MP4, WMV, D3V usw.

Here in english (I can't english very good):
I have an idea. The Scratch tem should make it able to put videos in Scratch too look videos in Scratch. That would be a very good idea. The videos should or can be: 3GP, AVI, WMV, FLV, MP4, D3V and all other video formats. Please, make this. It would make Scratch easilyer 8I think I have the word easilyer writen false, sorry).

well simply just download skype and if you have a webcam, huzzah! it will work because you can use webcam chat on skype

Good idea, but think about the ones who'd like privacy. As I've said before, you just need a chatroom, and make webcams optional.

That is true unless you are older than 18 years old and if it is only a chat room it would stink because there wouldn't be anything to do except chat.

I think that scratch should make Blocks for retreiving source from the internet from Scratch comments! For example: you could make a block that retrieves information from the internet, online (or offline), just like iTouch apps do! This will allow Scratch chat-room projects big_smile , and actual MMORPG like a World of Warcraft Project! This would make Scratch a much more exciting, tighter, closer virtual community! You could team up with another company to provide instant online chat and other instant updates online! Everyone would love this!
