Scratch is the simplest project I've ever used that can make games. But the only place you can publicly share what you made is on the Scratch Website. What if you could save you project as a .exe file? Then you could upload to game websites and such.

There are plenty of community-made programs that do this:
Scratch EXE Creator (includes the ability to save the project)
Scratch2EXE (popular)
EXEScratch (old and unsupported)
IExpress (hidden utility in Windows that creates EXEs in general; linked thread provides info on how to make it run Scratch)

Is there a program where you can export to .swf?
