I need apps that can open windows office files please

Gimp is good for drawing and for animation, iMovie can be good, although Adobe After-effects is more professional.
Openoffice or Libreoffice is good... I use the latter on my Snow Leopard Dual Boot. (Windows Office on my Lion)
And some tips:
To uninstall apps, drag them to the trash, but to uninstall them properly, an app like app cleaner is good
Which Mac?

TextWrangler if you do any programming (which most people on Scratch do) (well, Eclipse might still be better for Java, and Eclipse/IDLE might be better for Python), I think there's a free version of PhotoShop, there might be a free (lite) version of StudioMAX or whatever it's called, and Shadow Era's a fun game.

Windows kept freezing
Mine freezes when the settings are high on LOTRO. I think it's a processor/graphics card overload.

Don't get a Mac. Get a PC. Seriously. You'll thank me.

You were probably using Internet Crashplorer, which doesn't just freeze Windows but also crashes your PC and allows viruses on it. Try using a better browser like FireFox or something.
