FireCloud is offering you a unique oportunity to develop a web applications, similar to chrome. If you would like to take part in this project please submit your app by following these specifications:
Sepcifications - MUST BE FOLLOWED
- All your required files must be in a zip file
- There must be an xml file called app.xml in the zip which is strutured like:
<xml> <author>Your Name</author> <name>App Name</name> <description>App Description</description> <version>Version (eg. 1.1)</version> <main>file name of the main file (eg. index.html)</main> <useweb>does it require internet? (true/false)</useweb> </xml>
- No PHP or server sided scripts can be included in the zip file, you must host them your self (therefore the <useweb> will be true).
- There must be a 50x50 icon file called icon.png in the zip file
- NO file operations unless you are hosting the files
For now thats it but I will probally release a newer more advance language maybe after my web browser is released.
I will also create a new thread.
If you have any questions please don't be affraid to ask.
Remember anyone is welcome to take part in this project however I do want quality and originality.
If you want to learn HTML I have made a project in My Projects!
I will soon be releasing some specifications for themes so check back soon.

Ok, finished my YT viewer.
Download it:escratch.org/downloads/YoutubeViewer.zip
The index.html is just an iframe, so you can just insert it however you wish. I didn't bother to make this fancy, but it works.

I have another question? Is having it as an iframe not allowed? Like host it on our own site? :S
Yes iframes are alloud but I dont want you to host them, just have a seperate file that is packaged with it.

If an app was built in pure php, it would almost certainly need to refresh the page to display the result. In which case you would have a form, with a few dropdowns, textboxes, buttons etc. The form requires an URL to link to. It would be the same URL as the page it's on in this case, so what is the URL?

you can have multiple files, so I would assume you just make another, and link to it.

Yes you can do that by prehaps saying %URLPATH% and telling what that means and I can change it. You can do that with anything like username, location ect just make sure you tell me what you mean.
Or you can do what rookwood101 said
