Anybody else like Alternative and Indie music?
Just wondering. Most kids at school only listen to pop, rap, hip-hop, ect. Meanwhile, I'm the only one listening to Arcade Fire, The Killers, MGMT, and Kaiser Cheifs. Anyways, if you like Indie and Alternative, let us know. And post your top 5 fave bands is you want.

I won't post top 5 in order... but I like MGMT, Keane, The beatles (if you consider them alternative), colour revolt, and Coldplay (not really alternative... but my favorite band ever)
I hate rap/hip-hop/most pop... But Indie/Alternative music is popular at my school

I listen to a lot of Indie and Alternative...both new and old. The Killers are one of my favorite "newer" bands. I'm also fond of Collective Soul and the Raconteurs. Going back a few years, I like The Cars, Talking Heads, Dire Straits, REM. I could go on and on...pick a decade and I'll tell you who I like
