i came home from school today
and this dog comes running at me
this new dog
and my mom is holding on to sparky
my other dog
so i have this other dog
but i've only ever had one dog
and
i'm not sure i want another
i mean
it would be hard to me
to love another dog
and sparky at the same time

help

if we do lose the dog
which it sounds like we might
i will still be able to see the other one
it would just be hard for me to love another dog
what should i do

Whenever you make a new friend do you like that friend as much as your best friend? Don't view this differently. This is a chance to make a new friend. Don't throw away a chance to build a new bond just because you don't think it will be as strong as an older one.
