Don't worry, it wasn't Kaj.
We were resizing one of the harddisk partitions on our server- the one that holds all the projects. Something went wrong in the resizing operation, so we had to check the filesystem to make sure it was all ok. The filesystem check operation took several hours to do because it's a pretty big partition - 2 million+ projects is a lot, and takes a fair amount of space! Now were done and it's all ok.
Sorry for the unplanned outage, everyone! And, of course....

Thanks.
I knew there was probably an error, I knew you guys would fix it.

Thanks for the explanation. (I'm guessing that the partition for the projects wasn't big enough.)
That must have been scary.

Oh! That explains a lot!
And 3TB isn't as much as I expected though

I guess people make lots of small projects. 2 million projects @ 10 MB is about 19TB. So that would be the maximum.

But... How do you explain all the deleted projects? Was it people spamming the "Deleted project" thing? And also, my friend was posting, and then it logged him in as someone else.
But at least the site's back!

Oh, I thought you guys would need 20 TB
EDIT: I did the math wrong, I should've done conversions.
Okay, still, I did the math again and I got 19 TB.
EDIT AGAIN: Ohhhh I see, a lot of projects are very small. I was saying that every project was 10 mb in my math.
EDIT A THIRD TIME: Well, does that mean the average of megabytes in projects is 3?
