The closest one is in Minnesota wich is about 2 hours to drive. Can't there be one in Omaha? I don't like haveing to travel for more than 1 hour, and noones going to come to one in Iowa(At least no Scratchers i know of) I wish i didn't live in the boringest state!

Hi there!

Scratch day sounds awesome, and my dad has a training room in Wellington, New Zealand. I think he would agree to a Scratch Meeting in NZ but we'll have to see. Is it ok with you guys?

We have a room with about 20 computers and it will be easy to put Scratch on them. I don't know how many people will visit but we'll see.

Hey, another forum.

I just wish there was something close to where I am, though. I wouldn't be able to set one up.  sad

I'm taking a break from Scratch until 2.0 comes out. Any messages sent between then and now probably won't be read - sorry.

I live in the UK. I may not be old enough to start one, but I know someone who would be who lives near me! I don't know many people in the UK who play Scratch, only my friend spy2712, but maybe if I put up posters more people would come! And it's not just for people who already play Scratch. YES!!!! This is a brilliant idea, having a special day that's made especially to encourage people to use Scratch! I'll ask my parents if I can help start one!  big_smile

I wish there was one in CT..... I didn't get to go to the last gathering. I want to go to one, so I can actually TALK to scratchers, I think I am the only 1 at my school who has even HEARD of scratch! (Besides Sandstripe ;P)

Nope, no new places yet. You can also track the events by visiting the Scratch Day events page. The most recent event is listed at the top...

I might drive to Madison Wisconsin or Rockford for a scratch day event but I have no idea if there are either any scrathers (is that the right term) in the area. My son would love to meet other people that scratch.
