In SS, we're learning about Greece.
This Friday, we will be doing an Olympic Games thing!

My group is doing chariot racing.
We have laundry baskets as chariots & people as horses!

It's gon' be funnnn!
And we're making laurels for first place!

We do something like that every year for my school's Spirit Week...but instead of laundry baskets, it's blankets on a gym floor with one person sitting and another pulling.

We do something like that for 6Th graders at my school in June. It has several events and each team (homeroom) had a different colored shirt, and by the end the points were tallied up and there was a tie, so we did a big tug of war.
