Idea for new Scratch Forums section!
I think there should be a new section on the forums where New Scratchers and Scratchers can thank the Scratch Team/Mods. I never know where to thank the Scratch Team when I want to. The Misc. Forums get clogged up with people talking about TV shows/video games, etc., so posting praise there would cause said praise to get ignored.
If this has already been suggested, then I am sorry.

Why would thank-you notes cause flame wars?
The reason it could cause flame wars is because people could get sick of praising them, and eventually argue with them.

The mods could go look at it whenever they're feeling sad 
I think this is going a bit too far. I know we all love the mods and the work they do to keep Scratch a happy family, but an entire forum for them would probably end up being half the size of the Sensors forums.

I am thanking Scratchers for being nice by choosing a new Scratcher(By new I mean different) every few days to be announced in my sig.
I will make a topic giving a list of past Nice Scratchers.
The first one was ProgrammingFreak.
