It's not 2.0 yet, it's 1.10. It's not a decimal number, it's version number.

Both are wrong, its 1.0.
We are in BETA 1.8.
there was a lot of alpha things, then beta (we are currently on), then there will be release 1.0, then 1.1....

It is currently Beta 1.8
After Minecon, there will be a release of MINECRAFT 1.0. Not beta, not alpha, just Minecraft 1.0.
