Inport Scratch file into Windows Movie Maker

When trying to import a scratch file into Windows Movie Maker, I receive the message that my file "cannot be imported because the codec required to paly the file is not installed" on my computer. Where do I find this download? Is it possible to import a Scratch file into Movie Maker?
Thanks!

Re: Inport Scratch file into Windows Movie Maker

I don't think it's possible, because Scratch file format is SB, and if you had button controls like when A pressed move 1 step, then it would probebly freeze anyway.

Re: Inport Scratch file into Windows Movie Maker

Well, SB file extension is not recognized as common media that WMM uses, but you could use screen recording software to record your Scratch project if it's an animation. Interactiveness is virtually impossible.

Thanks, Sidharth!
So it is just an animation (no interactiveness - just movements). What is this "screen recording software" you are talking about? Is it something I could download?

Yes. Google 'CamStudio'. You can record your screen for a period of time and import THAT file into windows movie maker.
