Actually, that was the formula for a lot of 80's pop songs too (minus the rapping).

The only mainstream song I love is Party Rock Anthem. It's thumpy and fun, but for sleepovers and not road trips, you know what I mean?
I like '90's and '80's music, that's about it. I'm picky.

Meh, I love rock. CCM, Emo and hard. But I hate most music on the radio, 'cept for Adele, The Script, Snow Patrol and the music played on Air1. Other than that, my radio is redundant XD I don't like a lot of old music, since I do like a bit of rap sometimes. But songs like "He loves me, I love him, we're gunna party tonight, yeah, c'mon, lets party, uh uh, c'mon, lets get it hot down here, yeah!"
That drives my to lunacy XD

I hate all modern day country and such. Too much drama.
Metal and the hardcore variant are trash, in my honest opinion.
(All of this is in my opinion. I'm not saying they're trash overall, but I don't like then and thats what I view them as.)
Back in my day.... there were no laws that censored the internet... now, there are.... nah.

i don't listen to music much, but i like 8-bit and 16-bit music and music played on piano and guitar. i don't like rap. i can't even stand a few seconds of rap. (That's just my opinion. i don't mean to hurt anyone else.)

Modern music is good. Just not mainstream pop.
At rock we have Bon Jovi, U2, Green Day, Fall Out Boy, Prime Circle, My Chemical Romance, Blink182, Three Days Grace, Nickleback, Good Charlotte
At pop rock we have The Script, The Parlotones, Coldplay, One EskimO
Those are all really good bands that I really like, and they are all modern bands.
Well if you wanted honesty, that's all you had to say. I never want to let you down or have you go, it's better off this way.
