All right haters. You don't know why, maybe his friend gave him the .jar. Who knows? He may not have really pirated. So I suggest you get back on topic.

I wouldn't classify Minecraft as Indie anymore man, the real indie devs that aren't even known put up their work either for free or very cheap, while Notch puts up Minecraft's BETA VERSION for SALE, not to mention that he has almost 4 milllion subscribers which means he has earned millions from his "indie" game.

yeah and what if those 4 million people all did what you did
either way, Mojang still isn't a big publisher like EA Games.
i really don't care if you're going to pirate just don't do it to companies that take a massive hit from it.

THANKYOU. YOU GOT IT RIGHT. my friend had a copy, but he couldnt be bothered by another one, so he gave me the .jar for his bday. I would have preferred if he bought it though.
