Isn't this stupid?

So i was watching Gumball (Gi/Kiss) and this ad for squinkie boys came on. It got me thinking- how stupid is it turning something aimed at girls into something for boys? That's like Sanrio making Hello Kitty into some secret agent instead of the regular HK? isn't this really stupid? And it was in this thing like "SQUINKIES BOYS!" and i never found the original girly ads- (i never liked squinkies- always thought they were too girly)


Isn't that stupid? Thats like turning barbie into ken.

Yeah, I've seen that.  I hate how they say it as if Squinkies can only be liked by girls and Squnkie Boys can only be liked by boys.

FYI, I've never liked them either.  I'm a girl but I find them too girly.

Minecraft, Redwall, and Cyberchase fan, and PROUD.

Closest thing to Squinkies I've ever liked is Webkinz, when I was younger.

They did that with Zhu Zhu pets.

But anyway, yeah. For Zhu Zhu Pets, I would never really want any, but when they first came out the jingle was catchy. Now, I have to change the channel whenever an ad for something like that comes on.

I'm sorta embarassed that when i went through a hamster-obsessed phase I got 3 Go Go Pets (Zhu Zhu Pets as you guys call them) and I thought they were the coolest toys ever. I still have them somewhere, I must have wasted a good hours of my life trying to find where they'd got to when they went under tables and stuff  tongue
