What about the scratch cat which turns into different animals (or different powers) when it eats certain cat food?

is it a bird? is it a plane? no its super-cat! the only cat that can fly with milk, and the only one to to blow explosive bubbles after drinking that soapy stuff whatever its called

+ exploding bubble breath
+ milk-gun
+ fur ball avalanche
+ mini-games where you catch mice

I think we need a proper plan, where every so many levels there's a mini game, there are also checkpoints and its organised. Look at some very successful games like Rayman 2 which had the hall of doors and the little races every few levels.

What locations you going for? Zelda was very random, Rayman 2 was mainly jungle/Caribbean pirate theme and then you've got other successful games like Mario which are just wacky.
