woah! i never realised how simple it could be! My action game took 6 sprites of the same character for all his moves... but I think this will teach me to make simplar games! I would suggest maybe having a collectable (yes i know that means a sprite... but you could have it where the item thats orange for example is part of the background, then when you collect it the background changes, therefore sticking to 1s1s)
