In a book, of course.
So, how many?

it doesn't matter about length
i've read a lot of books with just 3 to 4 pages a chapter.
just make sure enough stuff happens. like don't dedicate a chapter to someone taking a bath or something.

Wow. That's more than I was expecting most people to say.

First it depends on the targeted age of the average reader. Then the size of the font or page size.

10-15
14
A4
Edit: Wait, no. Not A4. That;s what I'm writing it in, but when I actually turn it into a book it will be smaller.

Most books have a width and height much smaller than a sheet of paper, and font size does, of course, make a difference. Chapters are (imo) sort of like scenes. Whenever you change the setting (including the time) you should change the scene and start a new chapter. Whether this will yield very short chapters (Maximum Ride) or very long chapters. Don't fit your story to fit a chapter length, fit the chapter length to fit the story (in other words, make the chapters as long as you'd like).

No no, not how many chapters in a book. How many pages in a chapter.

At least 10.
Once I read a chapter that was one paragraph.
In my last book, most of the chapters were around five pages, and the beginning few chapters were even less!

I've seen a chapter as one paragragraph.

I don't think it really matters how long your chapters are - what's important is making everything the right length: Don't write too much about an unimportant thing, and make sure the important stuff is detailed enough and doesn't get flown through.
And don't attempt to stretch chapters for the sake of having them longer - keep everything proportionate
Dunno if that was helpful or not

However many feels right. I've written chapters that, typed, take up about 1 page on Pages, the iPad app.

Depends on whatever you want. Ive seen a book with 3-6 pages a chapter, and one 65 pages a chapter. Both were great. Whatever the author feels necessary.
