Japanese Empire
by the way, this is completely different to murpho's project, but scratch assumed that it was based on it.

so... does my game give any inspiration to what we're aiming for?

shall i make a prehistoric level or not... because i'm ready with ideas on my desk and designs but if i make it then everyone will complain i didn't let anyone else get involved, when no one is getting involved (except mattb777 of course)
Using the pre-existing character rayman from my japanese level, i could create a top-down hub world (well 7 hub worlds: prehistoric, egyptian, medieval, japanese, modern, future and then a bonus world with a name like "wacky lands") with side-scrolling levels, 3 per world to be precise.
All i need is everyone's co-operation, because someone needs to be firm and take charge and bump out the ideas and projects!

right... we're getting somewhere! Also, (ScareCrowCritic) this is a mix of genres, featuring puzzles and action and of course time-zone adventuring! I am designing it where (with everyone's permission) where each project is a hub world, which leads to different lands. Worlds are filled with top-down puzzles, lands are filled with action and side-scrolling adventure. There will be 7 projects in total, prehistoric.... and finally the 7th will be the bonus hub world.
Any thoughts or improvements?

that sounds good. what time eras are we going to do?

erm...
MY VOTE IS FOR: (mainly because i have suitable music for these and like the themes)
prehistoric, egyptian, japanese, medieval, modern/or WW2, sci-fi and finally bonus

also, i can't remember what job i were given? but doesn't really matter anyway tbh, as long as i co-operate with the group.

Sorry, my mouse stopped working for a while, so it got annoying to move with the trackpad and scroll with the scroller bar.
P.S. I'm not a girl or a thing.
kk... and i were talking about everyone on the staff list being male/female/things
Also I fixed the "double vision" for rayman, so instead of seeing 2 or more at the same time you only see one, and when you press space + down you do a heli-shoot! And, when you press space down but are not flying, you do not disappear any more.

Thanks! I need to know because I'm the programmer. In the beginning we could make it a puzzle like level to design the time machine!

shall we use my rayman sprite seen as it's working very well? i have set it up to make it extremely simple. Each object/sprite has the green-flag code and the "when i recieve level 1" code, so that things only happen when you are at a certain level, I would like to make the prehistoric zone so that the real developers can use it as a template, because i have a very simple system which can be copied over and over. Here's the latest rayman updates: BUGShaveBEENfixed

Also... what's the starlight password/login info? I'm pretty sure you'd want the prehistoric world to be uploaded into a gallery called "Game_Name" under "Starlight Games" rather then on my own profile.

Can we change the rayman sprite's costumes to whoever our chairictor will be

Offline
yes... if it's possible to do it without ruining the quality! first though i'll finish the prehistoric template so then we can think about sorting out costumes after.
I never wanted to force the character rayman into development, i only used him because it was the best sprite i could find!

Warning: to those who are weak player, be warned for what is the hardest FIRST LEVEL ever made. I am still deciding whether to keep this as hard as it is, or save the extremely hard "super-bullets" for another programmer to use in later levels.

Yes, Borrego. You know. Did you see the "Add Yourself" Project? ALL of the entries are in it. Someone remixed, too. The winner of the contest, in fact.
I have decided I simply cannot feature the winning sprite. It is possible, but the winning sprite has no legs. It would look slightly strange.
I guess I could do it.
