Yay! I can't wait to tell my friend!

In other news... I want to bring the idea of an rpg back.
I have a big plan, and I just want to get it in action. The idea was first for me and my brother, but I thought we would need more people. This idea would be sort of like on a theme of how minecraft started. Endermen, Creepers, the whole bunch.
The cast would go as follows:
Only ONE Hero this time.
One side-kick. Mentor/ person who shows that Hero where to go.
A few people who would be MANY people during the whole thing. Would need some sort of plugin that would change names. These people would be varied, like a side person who dies, and a bartender, and a civilain could all possibly be the same person, but under different names.
Builders, people who build the map in-between times the hero is on, and the starting map. These people would do things like while the hero is away, does side effects like explosions while being invisible.
I have a plan for a story, so no-one would be making it up as we go, just me 
I wish to hear feedback from you all, a sort of vote. To do or not to do?
aslo, would we build the map in singleplayer and go server? or start it being made on the server?

Yeah, there is a griefer... I am checking for him. Griefer, this isn't the everglades. And you can't hide.
