Nicd but i think the scratch team picks scratchers and not new scratchers sadly but also, to be picked a good description that's long might boost your chances to a ¾ chance ˇ▼˙

Dear Scratch Team,

Sometimes, I look on the home page and top loved/ top viewed and I look at the project, wether it's a game, an animation or a music project, and I think, my projects are better than that. The only reason that particular project is front paged is because that scratcher is famous. I'm not saying that for EVERY top viewed/ top loved, but I've seen some and I'm sure a lot of other scratchers think this aswell.

I would like to see brilliant projects with not a lot of views recognized by all scratchers. That's why I would like to become curator, so I can give these projects a chance to get the fame they deserve. I will pick all kinds of projects trying to choose at least 1 in 2 days.

My current favourites are mostly animations and games, but I have seen some great projects like this:

Dear Scratch Team,

I am yoshi-fan and it is my dream to be curator. I am mostly interested in games of all sorts, mostly due to the fact that this is such a diverse category, which allows the user to be creative. I believe getting to be curator would be an extraordinary experience for me and the curator because...


1) I am astonished by the sheer creativity used on Scratch, and my friends would get to know me more by the projects I curate.

2) Several people who's projects lack an significant amount of views think that it has to do with what they make, even if it was a masterpiece.

3) I would curate all sorts of fun, unique projects that deserve positive feedback, but can be improved.

4) After someone gets feedback, there are still an unlimited amount of improvements possible. People would learn more from the projects they created if a better amount people give them feedback, which is why I am likely not to curate art, memes, or contests.

5) I would get to experience power, and a lot of people I curate will get to experience  fame.

And one more thing. I like how the system curating can make people on Scratch get an idea of feedback and will be encouraged to move on to more complex programming languages. I am very excited and determined to become a curator some day.

Oh, and to add on, I don't think I really introduced myself. I am mainly focused on creating different kinds of games, and try to do things on Scratch I've never done before so I can learn. Also, I like to be influenced and inspired by other people's games (not just from Scratch.)

i would really like to be a curator. i will never curate innapropriate projects. i would bring back games to the front page. i will never curate my own projects. i would not select projects that have already been on the front page (excluding newest, my friend's latest or SDS.i would really like to be one

I would like to be the curator too! 

I like games where you jump and mover around with the arrow keys. I also like musical games. Story projects are cool, but sometimes they are boring and I don't like them. Scratch Cat's Adventure chapters one and two I wrote.

I would love to be a curator but I know I wouldn't because I'm a failure
