Adding Movies to Scratch?

Is there a way to add movies to Scratch? If so, how? If not, is there a Scratch Mod that does so?

No, sorry. They're working on it for Scratch 2.0 though.

No, movies aren't being added in Scratch 2.0 as far as anyone knows. The ST has decided against adding video capabilities to Scratch in the past, since they don't really add to the learning focus of Scratch very much, and take up a lot of space. I'd recommend checking out part 13 of this thread.

Get frame grabbing software, compile a animated gif, import by dragging the .gif file from a file explorer into the costume space of a sprite  smile

You have to change frames manually  wink
