How did I do that?

I'm in Chrome, and I pressed something (no idea what). Then a new tab opened that said I went "incognito." It meant that what I opened in that tab wouldn't be saved in my browsers history or give me cookies.

What did I press?

Re: How did I do that?

Ctrl + shift + N opens an incognito window in Chrome for Windows/Linux, which is probably what you pressed.

Re: How did I do that?

You pressed Ctrl+Alt+N.  I use ingognito a lot.  Google certainly has a sense of humor.

'Ingognito browsing will not protect against:

ISP
etc.
etc.
etc.
etc.
etc.
Survaillence by secret agents
People standing behind you.'

Edit: It's like InPrivate in IE or Private Browsing in Firefox.  Or Private Browsing in Safari.
