Judge John Hodgman is the funniest podcast online. It is the podcast where John Hodgman (as described in his book The Areas of my Expertise as a professional writer and famous minor television personality) pretends to be a judge and solves family issues with bailiff Jesse Thorn. The last couple episodes have been so-so, but usually his smart wiseguy humor is hilarious.
I had the pleasure of appearing on the podcast in the episode "H'orderves in the Court." As always, the microphone made my voice sound high pitched, and I did a TERRIBLE job speaking, but it was a really funny episode and I got to see my father humiliate himself publicly and it was enjoyable. John Hodgman has also written the two most hilarious books I have ever read, titled The Areas of my Expertise and More Information That You Require. They are both volumes of his almanac of fake facts that he made up (HI-LAAAARIOUS) and the third and final edition (since the world will end in 2012) That is All, will be published on November 11, 2011. I can't wait.
When I picked up his first book, I immediately started laughing, for on the cover and back cover of the paperback edition, he lists reviews of his book and rates them on their accuracy. The introduction to the book was awesome, and the book's style and writing is funny and great. I encourage any smart-humored Scratcher over the age of 11.5 to read this wonderful book, and everyone should listen to the podcast. There are a couple iffy mentions in the book, but the podcast is pretty tame.
In conclusion, John Hodgman is really funny.
(EDIT: He is also the PC in the Mac and PC commercials!!!

Some of the best episodes are You Say Tomato, I Say Justice, The Cow Beef, and of course, Hors d'oeuvres in the Court. (When I talk, skip through my part, I'm pretty darn embarrassed at how terribly I spoke
