Music Makers?
What's a good music maker kind of thing for Microsoft? I don't have a mac so I can't do garageband. What should I get?

Linux MultiMedia Studio
It has lotsa synths, not a whole lot of 'real' instruments like GarageBand, but it supports VST, .pat, and ZynAddSubFX(?). So you can get stuff like that. It has a good bit of effects (maybe that's the ones I already installed 
), and supports ladspa. And, best of all, it's free!
