Where is the 'switch to background' block? It should be under Looks but is not there. I am using Mac version by the way. Thank you.

the first block is switch to costume .. is there a way of changing that?

are you in a sprite? that says if you are in a sprite. go to the stage "sprite" and it will say switch to background

got it ... thank you. yes, i needed to select the stage sprite and then the Looks blocks changed. now i see 'change background' . thanks.

youre welcome. i dont have a mac, but windows has also the same scratch version as a mac

the stage has limited blocks than sprites. the pen blocks are basically not there. alot is limited for the stage. poor stage.
