A step by step tutorial on how to get skins:



Step 1: Log in to Minecraft.net

Step 2: Open a new tab and search 'skindex'


Step 3: Select the first option

Step 4: Search for your skin '(eg. search 'pigman' in the skindex search bar if you want a pigman skin)

Step 5: Once you've found the one you want, look to the right of it until you see an up arrow


Step 6: It will go to MC.net and ask if you want this skin. Say yes.


Step 7: Close minecrat then open it again. It should have worked.

i acually don't like what notch is adding to minecraft. I mean really? potions? dragons and stuff? minecraft is about creativity, he's kinda making it more adventure then the old "survival" feeling

But adventure is cool! D:

I don't mind adventure as long as they rebalance the survival part of it. They've made minecraft too much "looking for places" rather than "looking for supplies".

I miss that old feel of having a small little wooden shack, and going mining, rather than everyone around you looking for mineshafts and strongholds.

Add new ores! Add new tools! Add new and more powerful mobs! I want to survive!

yep, excatly what im feeling

I know what you mean. Having to actually survive is much of what makes survival mode so fun, but every map it's not very long before you're well established and just exploring every once in a while.

If you're talking about classic no-mobs and no-nighttime...

Or, if you're talking about classic Beta with mobs, night, torches, and all the blocks...
