Avatar: The Last Airbender

Note: I am currently listening to the soundtrack songs (Release teh soundtrack Nickelodeon!)
here
They did an awesome job on the soundtrack.
My story:

A few weeks ago, I saw a bunch of Avatar stuff on NickToons. They showed the final one, but I was disappointed when they didn't start from the beginning. My parents have a Netflix account, so I was able to go through the entire series online via instant-streaming.

When I went back, I noticed that the first season was almost NEVER played on TV!  sad  This is kind of sad, because I feel that that is the best season out of all of them, mainly because a lot of the story is revealed.

Anyways, I think my favorite character has to be Uncle Iroh.

What is your opinion on the show?

Also, I started to watch the movie, but I didn't even watch up until Aang even got to talk, I left at the explosion of the iceberg. It was REALLY bad and it was only a few minutes in!  yikes

yeah, although he was once a fire nation general, he seems to be the only person willing to stand up to his brother.

I just saw the movie, I ended up finishing it. It wasn't bad, but not good either.

They kept pronouncing things wrong, like they said "ah vatar" instead of avatar and ong instead of aang.  tongue

I wish there were more seasons, but I respect that for the most part they didn't go off of the main plot, and have just random stupid unrelated episodes, such as in spongebob or most other cartoons.  sad

Well, ember island players was pretty random. It was funny though.

I read on the wikipedia page for it that they're making a second series, several decades later...

I haven't seen that show for a long time. My favorite bending is water bending, and my favorite character, probably the brother of Katara (Soka, Saka, something like that) and the blind earthbender. I only remember the names because I read the posts, I don't remember barely anything  tongue

Anyways, the Ember Island Players wasn't quite as random as the one in the fire nation colonies with the dance parties. It was just way too cliche, I mean really.

Pretty girl starts to flirt with him
Big strong guys says "back off, she's mine"
New guy embarrasses big strong guy

I mean really as if that hasn't been used in  the thousands of bad shows about middle/high school.  mad
