Perhaps this is not necessarily the best way of getting friends on Scratch.

Think of it this way - you make friends in real life by talking to them and getting to know them better, not by going up to them and saying "let's be friends!". Instead of making a thread asking people to be your friend, try going around on Scratch and commenting on projects or galleries of people you would like to be friends with. You're more likely to make more meaningful friends on Scratch that way. smile
