Re: Oops.

Why?  You don't know what to delete and you were trying to free up system memory, or were you just wondering if it would let you?

Re: Oops.

Woah.

What's funny about Windows is that it "secures" important files and directories, but you can get past that by just clicking "access anyway".

Re: Oops.

Err, why/how did you even do that? Aren't there security features in place to make deleting it difficult?

I guess it doesn't matter now; you're going to have to reinstall Windows. It's not incredibly difficult, try the guide here (even if you don't have XP, the process should be the same).

I'm taking a break from Scratch until 2.0 comes out. Any messages sent between then and now probably won't be read - sorry.

I don't think anyone could complain about windows not being secure when they actually click on "access". It is like jumping into a fire and complain about it being hot

Well, maybe there are people who wrote a custom OS that they like more than Windows, and don't see a need to keep Windows on their computer any longer.

Re: Oops.

Windows doesn't let you delete important system files, so you didn't delete it unless you connected the hard drive to another computer.
