Shift + 4 key not working
Hey all;
On scratch; I am trying to put in the $ symbol; but it won't let me.
Can anyone help?

Where are you trying to put it?
If the space has box edges like this [ ] then you should be able to type $ in there.
If the space has round edges like this ( ) then you can only put numbers, periods, and commas there.

Yes. In the round spaces, you can only enter numbers, and nothing else.
If it's not working when you enter it in a rectangular space, then it's a problem with your computer/keyboard (which we likely can't help you with, so you'll have to get a computer expert's help).

I'm taking a break from Scratch until 2.0 comes out. Any messages sent between then and now probably won't be read - sorry.
