I've noticed the amount of depressing topics has been bumped up latedly (steve jobs, suicides, kittens, etc.)
I honestly think you guys should take it to a guidance counceler or something, us scratchers are programming nerds, we cant really help you

Just because you're refusing to try and help people doesn't mean others should as well...sometimes all it takes is to just get it out, tell someone, even if it's not someone you know...and if someone does that here, the best way to respond is with comfort and advice, not "oh it's just another depressed person." Yes there is a lot of depression in the world, but that doesn't mean we should give up helping people fight it. In fact, NOT fighting it just makes it more depressing to people, it tells them that they are right, that life isn't worth living or caring about. If you care about your own life, you should care about others' lives as well.
